Always trim the wick to a quarter inch before lighting. Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface, usually one hour per inch of diameter. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn. Avoid burning for more than four
hours at a time. Keep the candle away from drafts and never leave it unattended.
